Great toolbox!the kit includes a purse frame,spongeballs,and a few extra props that are awesome.The only thing wrong is it spends a lot of time on the dvd explaining different props that the kit didnt include.Its a great toolbox and this was my first time having spongeballs.It is super soft and totally worth the money.The only things is you have to do is practice practice practice.It is one of the most best magic you can do.Happening in the audience`s hands will give you billions of responses.I highly recomend it.

I wanted to start doing sponge ball magic for my grandkids. I purchased this DVD thinking that I would learn various techniques and ideas for routines. I am not disappointed. Some of the humor only elicits a *groan* but the materials covered is first class.

Gary: There are chapters. You have to press your MENU button on your DVD remote. Beau: Yecch! I dislike the super soft sponge balls for working. However, if you soak these balls overnight in warm water, then squeeze towel them dry, you'll find they become super soft. Me: Boy, I wish I could have just edited my review instead of having to add a new one to communicate with Gary & Beau!

Just when I think I know everything about sponge balls.... I wasn't that impressed with Steve's routine when I saw it on L&L's World's Greatest: Sponge Balls DVD. But I picked up enough MORE on this DVD, to make it more than worth my while. Eugene Burger says he has a love/hate relationship with sponge balls, and I understand. We feel the darned things are too simple; our audience thinks they're the greatest pieces of magic that they've experienced. I had an elderly couple compare me to Thurston -- based purely upon their reaction to having sponge balls appear in their hands. If you're more interested in impressing your customers than in impressing yourself, learn from this DVD. And you'll have all these cool props (balls, rabbit, gimmick, sponge coins) to play with too! *jeep! --Grandpa Chet

I recently purchased the spongeball toolbox, and on the most part I was very pleased. The amount of material covered in the DVD was very good. While there were not as many long routines as I would have liked, the amount of moves and variations of simpe things like vanishes, steals, and passes made this DVD worth purchasing. The props are a different story. I was not pleased with the quality of some of the props. The included sponge balls were not the super softs that I (and Im assuming most other magicians) am used to. If this is your first exposure to the sponges, this may not seem like a big deal, but if your used to the super softs, these stiffer ones are almost unusable. The purse frame is solid, but it seemed a little small, however I have huge hands, so that might skew it a little bit for me. The included gimmick sponges (The flat ball, color changing ball) are okay, but I havnt been able to incorparate them into my routine. One final beef I had with this set is that the DVD has some sections covering sponge ball tricks with gimmicks that are not included with the kit, such as thumbtips and the sanada gimmick. Despite what may seem like a large number of complaints, I still enjoyed this package. I really didnt mind the stiff sponges, I alrerady have my favorite super softs, and the DVD provided me with a lot of new techniques to think about and try to incorporate into my routine. My final word is this: With most magic DVD's being 30 dollars and up, this set, that includes an info packed DVD and lots of (somtimes not great) props, in a package for 22 bucks, you wont regret getting this set.

The information and different routines were great. The only flaw was the DVD did not have chapters so you could go to a particular routine or slight. I would still recommend this DVD.
